Financial Correspondence

The Financial Correspondence application provides the current status and details about NAIC correspondence with companies, that the state were copied on, regarding data issues associated with their financial filings.

  1. Click the Summary Report link under the Tools tab.
  2. Select Financial Correspondence link from the Compliance section of the page.  Hover over the report name to see the report description.
  3. The Summary Report Search Criteria will be displayed.  On the page, select from the following criteria:

    State or All States -

Note: When "All States" are selected Domiciled, Licensed and Business Written defaults to "All"

Year

Note: Correspondence will only be retained for the current project year which run from February 1 to January 31.

Licensed
Business Written

Statement Types

Correspondence Type

After selecting the correspondence type all of the letters that were sent to the companies based on the above criteria will display.

  1. Click the view link next to the letter.
  2. The report displays as a Microsoft Word document once the view link has been selected you have the option to open or save the word docuement letter.
  3. To save the letter, select the appropriate option from the File menu.
  4. To return to the Summary reports page close the report
