Market Systems Participation

The Market Systems Participation report displays the number of records submitted or entered into each of the iSite+ Market Applications; Complaints Database (CDS), Market Action Tracking System (MATS), and Regulatory Actions (RIRS); by year for each of the past five complete years and the current year. Entity specific and method of data entry pages are also provided for RIRS and CDS. A report of the number of Market Analysis Level One Reviews (MARS) by line of business for the current year is also included.  

To access the Participating State report:

  1. Click the Utilities link under the Tools tab.
  2. To access the Market Systems Participation Report click the Market Systems Participation Report link in the Market/Consumer Utilities section on the left side of the table.
  3. The report information will display for every state. The page is presented in table format. There are 12 different reports on this page.

    CDS -  count by date entered to the database
    CDS -  count by date the complaint was closed
    CDS -  count by firms & individuals by the date the complaint was entered into the database
    CDS -  count by how submissions are entered to the NAIC

    MATS -  count actions entered into the database
    RIRS - count by date entered to the database
    RIRS - count by the date the regulatory action was taken by the state
    RIRS - count by firms & individuals by the date the action was entered into the database
    RIRS-  count by how submissions are entered to the NAIC
    MARS- count by line of business 
    MITS - count by initiatives entered into the database

  4. A "printer friendly" version of the report is now available that prints each report section as a single page.  For users of the Internet Explorer browser, simply click the “Printer Friendly Report” link at the top of the page and select the appropriate option from the File menu.  For users of the Netscape browser, click the “Printer Friendly Report” link, select File – Print Preview, set the Scale to 80% and then click the Print button on the Print Preview screen.
