Market Action Tracking System

The Market Action Tracking System (MATS) provides regulators a way to communicate action schedules and results. MATS includes functions for calling market regulation actions, reporting, and access to full information about the people involved in the market action. MATS can also be used to view or update action information for a specific entity, individual, non-risk bearing entity, or company. 

To view a MATS action:

After going to the iSite+ log in page, enter your User Name and Password and click on the Login button.

There are three ways to access the Market Action Tracking System.

  1. From the Company Firm Search page, search for the desired entity. Select the date hyperlink for the entity below the MATS column header. From the Categories page, select the Market Action Tracking System link under Market Analysis, OR

  2. From the Business Entity Search page, search for the desired entity.  Select the date hyperlink for the entity below the MATS columns header, OR

  3. From the Individual Entity Search, search for the desired entity.  Select the date hyperlink for the entity below the MATS column header.

  4. The Market Action Tracking System displays the Action List for the entity previously searched.  

  5. If the entity is associated with Actions, the Action List displays. The actions that display will only be those where the entity is designated as the primary entity. NOTE: Actions list may be sorted in ascending and descending order by clicking on the sort icon next to the column heading.

  6. A user with the appropriate role may either view or update an existing action, or add a new action. 

  7. To View an action select the radio button beside the action and click the view button.  Sections may be expanded or collapsed by clicking on the +, - button.

Create a New/Update MATS action

The CAD has the overall responsibility for MATS entries. However, all staff members granted the proper security role may create and update actions.

After conducting the entity search, the MATS Action list

  1. Display all existing actions where the entity is designated as the primary entity,  
  2. or No records found.
  3. From the Action List, if there are existing records, a user may select an existing action to add a new action for that entity, or if No Records, select the New button.
  4. The New Action window displays and the General Information Tab is selected.

  5. After completing all of the required fields, click the submit button to create the action.

 

MATS Detailed Report

Incorporating all elements from the MATS application, the MATS Detailed report is generated via a single, user-defined report interface. Report selection criteria are categorized by Required Elements (Entity ID, or Cocode, or Group Code, or Action Number) Action General Information, and Display and Sort Options. A minimum of one required field must be selected in order to run a report.

The MATS detailed report is accessible through:

  • Summary Reports, under the Market Information System headings, or

  • Selecting the Detailed Report button in the MATS application.

  1. Select the MATS Detailed Report

  2. The Market Action Tracking System Report Selection criteria window displays

  3. To submit a report, it should include at a minimum, at least one of the following.

    • Entity ID

    • Cocode

    • Group Code

    • Action Number

  4. Display and Sort options allows you to specify the fields in the report and the order the actions will be displayed.

  5. The Report can be displayed in HTML or in a .CSV spreadsheet format for additional  sorting, grouping, and filtering capability.

  6. To generate the Report, select the Submit button.

  7. After the report generates a prompt to Open, Save, or Cancel displays.
