Market Conduct Annual Statement Filing Status Report

The MCAS Filing Status Report provides the latest status for each
company’s Market Conduct Annual Statement filing by state and line of
business. The companies listed on this report are those doing enough
business in the state to likely meet the threshold requirements for
filing. This report is accessible through the Summary Reports section
of iSite+.
There is a Submit Date column and an Extend Date column for each line
of business. They contain the various filing indicators described
below.
Submit Dt - (date)
Depending on a company’s filing status
one of the following indicators is displayed:
Month/day/year -
indicates the date the company filing was accepted.
Due – indicates a
filing is expected for the company, but not yet received.
Waived –
indicates the company was expected to file in the state, but the
state approved a waiver releasing the company from their filing
obligation for this data year and line of business.
Extended –
indicates the company is expected to file in the state, but the
state approved a filing extension beyond the normal filing due date.
Pending –
indicates the company is expected to file in the state and they are
awaiting a decision from the state on a waiver or an extension
request.
Blank – indicates
that the company is not required to file for this line of business
in the state.
Extend Dt - (date)
If a company receives an approved
extension the month/day/year of the company’s new filing date appears in
this column. Once the company’s filing is accepted this date remains
and the actual filing date is displayed the Submitted Date column.
The Totals area of the report displays company counts by status. This
provides the regulator a quick summary of how the submissions for that
state are progressing.
Each column on the report is sortable by selecting an option from the
drop down arrow to the right of the column heading. Each column is
searchable by entering search criteria in the blank box under the column
heading. Each cocode is a link to the Company Waiver and Extension
Report which displays all waiver and extension activity for that company
for all states (see I-SITE Help for details about report). Each
Pending, Approved, and Denied status on the report is a link to the
actual Waiver or Extension Request submitted by a company. Company
comments are displayed there as well as the state’s decision and
comments once the state takes action on the request.
