The State Contact Viewer displays the persons designated by their state as the point of contact for Market Regulation data including Regulatory Actions (RIRS), Special Activities (SAD), Relationships and the Exam Tracking System (ETS), as well as persons designated as the contact for Financial Examinations through ETS. The report is designed to assist states with electronic processing of Market Regulation data and to present the ETS privileges of their state’s examiners and examination staff.

To access the State Contact Viewer:

  1. At the I-SITE Log-In page, enter your Oracle User ID and Password in the appropriate fields.
  2. Click the Utilities link OR if already logged in, click the Utilities link at the top of many pages within I-SITE. The I-SITE Utilities page will display listing the available utilities and their descriptions.
  3. Click the State Contact Viewer link in the Market Regulation Utilities section on the left side of the table. The State Contact Report page will display.

    The report uses the I-SITE login id to determine which persons to display. For example, a NY000 login id would only be able to view the New York contacts.

    The Viewer report includes the name of the contact person, their NAIC State Contact id (for use with electronic RIRS, SAD and Relationship transaction), the Role of the Contact (i.e. Regulator, Examiner), their I-SITE login ID (if one has been assigned), their ETS privileges and their e-mail address used for ETS, if provided. This report is sorted alphabetically by last name.

    At the bottom of the report, you will find links to the ETS State Contact Request form in both a Word ’97 format and Rich Text Format (rtf). You can use this form to add a contact to the State Contact list or to update the information for any of your state's contact persons. The form contains instructions for submitting the information to the NAIC for processing

    The state contact information can also be downloaded in a delimited format to enable you to load the data to your state's database tables to use with electronic RIRS, SAD and Relationship transactions. The format for the delimited list is last name, suffix, first name, middle name, NAIC State Contact id. The default name of the delimited file is "etsdelimcont.cgi". You may rename the file to meet your needs

  4. To save or print the report as it appears, select the appropriate option from your browser's File menu.
  5. To return to the Utilities page, click the Back button at the bottom of the report or click the Back button on your browser.
