The VOS information provides you with the capability to
view current valuations information for securities and subsidiaries in the NAIC database.
The securities and subsidiaries information in this database includes data only for
investments that are insurance related. Securities
iSite+ provides you with the capability
to view current valuation information for securities in the NAIC database. Securities are
assets that represent a company's stock ownership of another company.
To access securities information:
- Under the Applications tab select VOS Security Search - AVS+
- Select a range of securities to
search. There are the following 3 selections to pick from:
Current - Current securities
in the SVO database
History - Securities that
have matured or been retired
Filing Exempt - Securities
in the SVO database designated as Filing
Exempt.
- You may search for securities by Issuer Number,
CUSIP Number, Maturity Date or Issuer Name.
- In the Search Criteria field, type the desired search
criteria corresponding to the selected field name.
- Modifiers
If you complete more than one search line, you
must join the lines by designating one of the following modifiers:
AND Returns matches containing all of the criteria entered in the connected lines; AND
is the default modifier used by the program if no other modifier is selected.
AND-NOT Returns matches that do not contain the criteria entered in the selected line.
OR Returns matches containing the criteria entered in either of the connected lines.
To enter a modifier before a line, use the arrow keys or click on the arrow to the
right of the Modifier field to scroll through the list of acceptable modifiers. The
modifier applies to the search line it immediately precedes. For this reason, the only
available modifier for the first search line is NOT; any other modifier would require more
than one search line.
- When you have entered the criteria, click the Go link to the
right of the Search Criteria region.
- The Securities Lookup Results Page will display a list of
securities matching the criteria entered.
- Click a security from the list to view its specific

located in the Save Criteria area of the page. A text box will display that requires a
name for the list of the search criteria. The name must start with a letter and must be
under 25 characters long. If you want this criteria to display as the default each time
you enter the Search page, click the Use As Default checkbox when the criteria name is
displayed in the list box to the left. To delete a criteria, click the Delete button in
the Save Criteria area when the criteria name is displayed in the list box. NOTE: Only
