Utilities



iSite+ Utilities are various applications that are used for such purposes as determining system usage, document sharing, and application statistical information.

The following utilities are available in this version of iSite+. Click the links below to see detailed instructions and information about a specific utility.

General / Financial

Codelist  - allows users to view and/or update the licensing records of businesses operating in their state. This allows states to maintain current records to ensure the accuracy of licensing data in reports referencing this information.

Data Reference Manual - details how annual statement data is stored on the NAIC database tables, including structures of the annual statement tables sorted by page number or table name, as well as additional non-financial information for companies.

File Repository - allows state users to share files with each other. Users can submit files to the server so others can use or view their files, or users can download files currently on the server.

IID - Alien Surplus Lines Insurer Filings - provides access to certified PDF copies of selected annual documents submitted by Alien surplus Lines Insurers.

Regulator File Sharing System - tool designed for use in sharing confidential regulatory workpapers across states/jurisdictions

State Contact Manager
The State Contact Manager allows for the update and retrieval of state contacts data. It also allows for the maintaining of relationships between the state contacts data and associated data in other iSite+ applications, such as RIRS and MAP.

System Usage - displays information about iSite+ access in a specified state for a specified date range. The data provided includes a breakdown of usage by application and user id, as well as state totals for the time period selected. You may also view a report for all states that provides a breakdown of usage by application and state, as well as totals.

Transmission Viewer
Displays the status of transmissions and transaction errors that have been sent to the Producer Database by the state insurance departments 

Waivers and Extensions
The Waivers and Extensions Application allows users with the role to be able to add or remove financial statement filing set waivers, or extensions for companies domiciled in their state.

 

Market / State Participation Reports

Closed Complaint Participating State
The Closed Complaint Participating State report lists by state/territory the number of closed complaints entered in Complaints Database System (CDS), the earliest record closed date, and the most recent record closed date and the most recent entry date. This report is useful in determining which states/territories are actively participating in submitting complaint records to CDS.

CMS Submission Verification
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), formerly Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA), Submission Verification report lists all the Medicare supplement and Medicare select related complaints loaded to Complaints Database System (CDS) by the user's state. The report allows a state to review the information reported to CMS by the NAIC on the states behalf.

Life Policy Locator Report
The Life Policy Locator Report lists details concerning consumer requests to locate and identify individual life insurance policies and annuity contracts of a deceased family member.

MATS Participating States
The MATS Participating States report lists by state/territory the number of open and closed actions, the most recent entry date, and the total number of actions. This report is useful in determining which states/territories are actively using MATS to alert NAIC members of action calls.

Market Information Systems Metrics
The MIS (Market Information Systems) Metrics application provides each state with detailed statistics on the submission of closed consumer complaints and regulatory actions (such as error rates, completion rates, confirmed complaints, and more), state specific submission frequency and formats, and Uniform Regulation Through Technology (URTT) compliance.

Market Systems Participation
The Market Systems Participation report displays information regarding each states frequency, completeness, and accuracy of data submissions to the NAIC Market Systems: Complaints Database (CDS), Market Action Tracking System (MATS), Regulatory Actions (RIRS), Market Analysis Review System (MARS), and Market Initiative Tracking System (MITS). Highlighted on each page of the report is the user state.

Regulatory Actions Data Entry Tool
Regulatory Actions Data Entry Tool allows regulators to enter Regulator Action data for inclusion in the NAIC Market Conduct databases. For access to Regulatory Actions Data Entry Tool, please contact the NAIC Help Desk.

The Regulatory System Participating State report lists by state/territory the number of regulatory actions entered in Regulatory Information Retrieval System (RIRS), the earliest action date, the most recent action date and the most recent entry date. This report is useful in determining which states/territories are actively participating in submitting regulatory actions to RIRS.

1033 State Decision Repository (SDR) - Data Entry Tool
The 1033 State Decision Repository - Data Entry Tool allows regulators to enter 1033 SDR data for inclusions in the NAIC Market Conduct databases. For access to the 1033 SDR Data Entry tool, please contact the NAIC Service Desk.

1033 State Decision Repository Participating State
The 1033 State Decision Repository Participating State report lists by state/territory the number of activities entered in State Decision Repository (SDR) Database, the earliest activity date, most recent activity date and the most recent entry date. This report is useful in determining which states/territories are actively participating in submitting activates of concern to SDR.
 

Producer Licensing
 

Attachments Warehouse/Reporting of Actions 
Provides a list of supporting documentation requested by a state as part of the licensing process.

Company Appointment Renewals 
State administration of the NIPR Company Appointment Renewals to view/print company renewal invoices and sort by payment status.

Company Appointment/Termination Report
Use the Company Appointment/Terminations Report if you want to view Active Appointments and/or Terminations for a specific company in a specific state.

Gateway
Link allows state users to access the NIPR electronic gateway developed to link state insurance departments with the organizations which they regulate.

State Interface
The State Interface option in Utilities allows state users to view and release transactions in the NIPR Gateway that are pending state review. These transactions have been submitted by the industry for the state’s review and approval.

State Licensing Batch Reports
The State Licensing Batch report allows you to create a comprehensive report form a list of individuals or agencies.
